It has been a whole month since I uploaded to my blog so I figured I owe my ten subscribers and my mother an explanation to my whereabouts. The start of term at Oxford has me overwhelmed with lack of time. There is always so much to do and so little time to accomplish that which I set my mind to. Time ultimately is the mausoleum of all hope and desire.
But as it is the night where the veil between living and dead has been lifted and all my friends are ghosts who aren't exactly the life of the party... here is the tea (forbidden mummy juice for all the newly deceased):
1. I am studying fluid mechanics, applied fluid dynamics, and equilibrium thermodynamics. Those are three fancy ways of saying I am dying physically, emotionally, and spiritually from the laws which govern my physical existence.
2. I joined the Christ Church Rowing Regatta! I am on the women's novice team. My early morning practices involve rowing, erging, and most recently, running 10k at 7am without warning. The run around Christ Church Meadow inspired my most recent writing which you should read after this.
3. VIDEO IS COMING! I finally obtained the software rights to Adobe Premiere so I am very excited to begin compiling the content I've collected over the past month.
4. Upcoming trips include Copenhagen, Denmark - Malmo, Sweden - Zurich and Interlaken, Switzerland - Prague, Czech Republic - Edinburgh, Scotland - Versailles, France so keep an eye out for pictures and blogs on those incredible cities!
5. I love and miss you all. Please do not hesitate to reach out! I would absolutely adore a call or video chat. It can get lonely when you're only friends with dead people.
Much Love,
Cecilia
